Silk & Iron came to Highball with a clear vision and a blank canvas — a men's golf and lifestyle apparel brand rooted in Southern heritage, craftsmanship, and the culture of the game. The ask was total: build the brand from the ground up and get it to market.
We started with positioning. The Silk & Iron customer is what we call the Aspirational Traditionalist — a 25–38 year old man who cares about how he looks on and off the course, appreciates quality over hype, and gravitates toward brands with a genuine point of view. Every decision that followed was built around him.
From there we developed the full brand identity, creative direction, product photography, social media strategy, e-commerce build, and launch campaign — all under one roof. The name itself captures the brand's core tension: refinement and toughness, style and substance.
